We had a special assembly led by Mrs Clwyd Davies and a presentation by the Year 6 members of the E-safety committee and Digital Leaders. Activities were held across the school throught the day to highlight this very important matter.
A visit from Dai Greene
We had an opportunity to meet yhe famous athlete from Llanelli, Dai Greene. He showed us a fe of his medals. We are extremely grateful that he came to visit us. He has a close relationship with the school as his father, Mr Steve Greene is our caretaker.
Burry Port Lifeboat
A cheque was presented to Burry Port Lifeboat following the children selling milkshake to raise money. Well done!
Children in need
We had a fantastic day organised by the school council with various activities and raised over £1000!!
The team spent the day in school teaching the children what to do in an emergency.

Asra tv show
Pupils from Year 4 enjoyed filming the new and exciting Tv show "Asra" during the summer holidays.
Fairtrade Coffee Afternoon
A very successful coffee afternoon was held in school. The children sang various songs to entertain the parents.
During the afternoon the parents ate and drank Fairtrade products and had the opportunity to purchase products from our Fairtrade stall.

World Book Day
We had a very special visitor in school, the former Children of Wales's bard Aneirin Karadog who discussed the importance of reading, performed some of his poetry and rap and held a workshop with Yr 5 and Yr 6 pupils.
The whole school dressed as their favourite character from a book!

Foundation Phase Christmas Service
The Foundation Phase pupils have held a Christmas Service.
They sang and recited very well, telling the true story of Christmas.
Key Stage 2 Christmas Show
